8:45 – 9:00am
Junior Golf School
Our Junior Golf School program is for athletes who want to take their game to the next level and experience an advanced level of coaching.
Our goal is to create an environment where our athlete’s will build life-long skills of the game, develop sportsmanship, friendships and honesty.
Program Specifics:
Athlete’s Recommended ages: 10 – 17 years old
Our athlete’s will be introduced to the advanced swing mechanics, putting and short game techniques to help improve consistency and skill development.
Golf is much more than just learning how to hit the golf ball on the driving range. We have created this program to expose these athletes to elite level training that will promote skill development and repeatable swing mechanics. At TOUR Performance Golf Academy we believe in order to develop motor skills we need our athlete’s to follow our four step process:
1)Understanding Cause & Effect
2) Supervised Training/Feedback
3) Transfer Training
4) PLAY!
Along with our four-step process; building athleticism is extremely important in developing golf skills. Playing other sports to develop balance, agility and mobility is crucial to building a strong foundation for future athletic development. Our athlete’s will be provided with a full evaluation to help them succeed and grow as a junior golfer.
